Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 5×9″ loaf pan with baking spray. Combine bread mix with one 12oz bottle of beer (preferably dark, and keep in mind your bread tastes like the beer you use). Mix only until moistened. Do not over mix. Pour evenly into loaf pan and then pour 1/4 cup melted butter over mixture. Bake for 50 – 60 minutes. This mix makes a very hearty bread with a crunchy, buttery crust. If you prefer a softer crust, mix the butter into the batter instead of pouring it over the top. You may also substitute non-alcoholic beverages instead of beer – soda or fruity carbonated beverages to make a sweeter version. However, we recommend adding a packet of Dry Active Yeast so that you get a proper rise. Hints: Make gifts by dividing batter into three mini loaf pans – bake 35 – 40 minutes. You can slice, cube, dip or dunk this bread. The perfect companion to soups, salads or casseroles. Bake, share and enjoy !
