How To Make Navy Bean Soup:
Bring 3 quarts of water to a boil. Stir in soup and seasoning packs. Add 2 cups ham and a 15 oz. can of tomatoes. Let soup cook approximately 20-25 minutes or until rice is done. Yield:
16 cups.
Want A Hint?
Soup will be even richer if you have the time to simmer a ham bone or the 2 cups of ham in the 3 quarts of water for about 30 minutes prior to adding soup packet. You may also substitute tomatoes with green chilies or flavored tomatoes for a zestier flavor. Serve with your favorite cornbread.

Just made this soup with our leftover holiday ham. It is delicious!! I put in an extra can if tomatoes just for fun. This is the first soup I’ve made from y’all and can’t wait to make more!
