Confession time. I actually purchased this mix as a Christmas gift. ?. I decided I could not give it if I had not actually tried it, I mean, what if it was just blah? I usually bake from scratch so mixes feel like “cheating”. Plus, my mom’s cobblers were always made with pie crust ( made the Old fashioned way from scratch). There are only 3 easy adds to this: butter, water, and peaches. I had my doubts…. So….. I decided to test and purchase more if it was good. Let me just say, I will be ordering More! The buttery, peachy goodness oozes out of this cobbler! It is an easy bake, 2 minute prep time and it was gobbled up almost as fast. I did “tweak” it slightly. I used fresh Fredericksburg peaches (from Texas ya’ll) Mixed with some sugar and some cinnamon I had prepared in the summer and were frozen. This bakes up a golden cobbler that smells heavenly and tastes like you worked for hours preparing it. Definitely a keeper AND gift worthy!
