Cinnamon Raisin Bread has always been a centerpiece of baking. Its versatility lends it to so many accompanying items. It’s always great in the afternoon with a cup of coffee, or in the morning before rushing off to work. Simply slice off a piece and keep on going. We consider our cinnamon raisin bread as old fashioned food with modern applications.
Add 3/4 cup of water, 1/3 cup of melted butter, and 2 well-beaten eggs. Mix until moistened and pour into 2 well-oiled loaf pans, size 5 x 9. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before removing to the cooling rack. A wonderful breakfast bread!
